Banking Law in the United States
Published in Ring-bound by Michie Publishing (July, 1992)
Average review score:

great (I'm biased though - read on)My father, Keith H. Ellis, was one of the co - authors of this book. So of course I think it's great! Unfortunately it's way above my head, so no I have not read it. I work with computers mostly. However, I do know that my father and the other authors are extremely intelligent men and I'm sure it is as eloquently written as possible for rather technical law material. As for how useful this book will be to you I'm not sure, I just wanted to be the first person to have reviewed this book.

Co Aytch Maury Grays First Tennessee Regiment: Or, a Side Show of the Big Show
Published in Paperback by Broadfoot Pub Co (December, 1987)

The complete story of one Confederate's service. If you've ever wondered what it was like to be a soldier in the Civil War, get this book. I recommend it whether your sympathies are Union or Confederate, whether you are new to studying the War or a lifelong buff. Sam Watkins tells the reader of all the excitement, tedium, bravery, fear, humor, and horror of a soldier's life in wartime. He is an excellent storyteller, with a style on a par with Mark Twain. I only regret that he wrote 20 years after the War, and his memory was better in recalling some events than others. But he recalls more than enough to give a complete picture. He was, of course, a staunch Confederate, but does not dwell much on politics. He judges senior officers on their individual merits as he saw them, and his opinions of them run the gamut from near worship of his regimental commander to contempt for Braxton Bragg. The book is a valuable soldier's-eye history of the Army of Tennessee, and portions of it are the only surviving first-hand accounts of the events recounted. The details of daily Army life will be of particular interest to re-enactors.

Maury and the Night Pirates
Published in Hardcover by Overlook Press (August, 1990)
Average review score:

beutiful illustrationsOne of the best illustrated children's books I have seen in a long time. The story is about a friendship between a penguin and a monkey who would like to be together, but can't since their living enviroments are so different. Beautiful drawings of Antarctica and African jungles are the main value of this book. My kids loved it.

Average review score:

An excellent resource in supplementing the textbook!!!I was a student in the social psych class module in Australia and Sabini's textbook on social psychology really fascinates the whole class! An U.Penn academic in Social Psych thoroughly describes and features concrete, research and stage theories from the research field of social psych....Sabini's textbook is so detailed and stimulating to read that when exams comes ...I have problems in recalling ....(...Sight...)
As a result, I had decided to purchase this Sabini study guide to social psychology. This study guide is structured and formatted into organised chapters related exactly to the textbook. Each chapter in the study guide first comprise of essay structured questionnaires, followed by a series of multiple-choice-questionnaires (MCQ's), and then structured short sentenced questionnaires. Answers to the MCQ's are provided at the end of every chapter and structured short sentenced questionnaires with answers beside them.
I personally find that the study guide is really beneficial to anyone who owns the textbook on Sabini !
